The Uzzle

We've mentioned it before: we're not shy about our love of competitive reality shows around these parts. From Survivor, to The Challenge, we love watching folks under pressure play games and solve puzzles. We've featured a single-player 3D challenge puzzle before, but The Uzzle brings the chaos to four players in a frantic race where even the winner feels the heat.
How it works: Every player gets the same set of blocks, simple rectangular shapes with colorful markings on each side. To start the round, a card is played in the center of the table, with a pattern key you're expected to build with your blocks. Whoever finishes first wins the round and takes the card. Oh and get ready to scream like maniacs. For some reason this game makes everyone scream like a maniac.
Why it's clever: There is literally zero learning-curve. You can simply look at the game and know how to play. We've played with multiple generations and each game was highly competitive (and hilarious). This one might seem a little pricey, but it's from an independent team, and they have 4.6 stars on Amazon with almost 5,000 reviews. We're not the only ones that seem to love it.
Price: $44
Bonus: there's also an expansion for more players, and a balance game variant. All great stuff!
